Veteran Bollywood personality and interior designer Zarine Khan passed away at the age of 81 at her Mumbai home. As per reports, she suffered a cardiac arrest in the early hours of Friday. Zarine, the wife of actor and filmmaker Sanjay Khan, was known for her grace, kindness, and strong family values.
Her final rites were performed according to Hindu rituals, fulfilling her last wish, as confirmed by her son Zayed Khan. Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Karan Johar, and Kajol expressed their heartfelt condolences, remembering her as a warm and elegant personality.
Born as Zarine Katrak, she started her career as a model and later entered Bollywood in the 1960s. She appeared in a few Hindi films, including “Tere Ghar Ke Saamne” and “Ek Phool Do Mali.” Though she did not continue long as an actress later built a successful career in interior design, working on several celebrity homes.
Zarine Khan will always be remembered for her beauty, strength, and the love she brought to everyone around her.
